Rob Semple was engaged to advise on options for a specialized VIP conversion for a UK based operator of a fleet of A330-200 based aircraft. This has since developed, and Rob is leading a re-configuration programme involving cabin industrial design, high-end seating, specialised VIP monuments and features, interior decoration refresh, aircraft STC and in-service support framework. This project has also extensively involved racon‘s network of associates.

Jet Airways is the premier airline in India, flying extensively domestically and internationally. New A330-300 aircraft were acquired by Jet in 2012/2013, which are now used on routes from India to the USA and Canada. Rob was engaged during the selection process for the new business class seat in early 2011. He then worked for Jet to establish and lead the delivery of the galley, business class seat, bespoke monument and economy class seat programmes, integrating them to deliver certification data and product to the Airbus build line in Toulouse. Rob was also engaged in the aircraft delivery, completing aircraft interior cabin walks and final acceptance.
